Why We Use Third-Party Platforms
Those services handle secure payments, guest screening, and liability protection—so you (and we) can relax. For that reason we’re not offering direct bookings yet. While a hold-harmless waiver sounds simple, Maine’s lodging laws and most insurance carriers still require commercial coverage for private bookings. We’re exploring policies that make sense for a single-site micro-host; until then, Harvest Hosts, RVOvernights, and Hipcamp keep everything above-board.
